Stella holds a unique niche in both the world of mime and the Jewish world, as she is the World's only kosher mime. Her solo skits are based on Torah topics, which makes her show entertaining and educational. And she performs before women's groups. The result is a spreading of knowledge of Jewish roots and culture.
Stella's mimes are about Jewish life – holidays, mundane and non-mundane tasks of Jewish people, women's activities like buying a new wig, going the the mikvah, or making challah. Her skits span the phases of Jewish life, bringing audiences to tears and laughter.
To ensure complete understanding by her audience, some of her skits have a short short spoken introduction to highlight elements of the mime and maybe shed light on the Torah lesson that the skit represents.
Stella has specially tailored programs for adults, depending on the occasion and the Torah knowledge of the audience. She also performs for children in camps, parties, and schools. A typical show would be 30 to 60 minutes.
Enjoy a lively perspective of Jewish life through mime. Kosher Mime can perform in synagogues, schools, camps and conferences for Jewish women and girls. Stella is also available for personal coaching/training.

Recently at an engagement party in Los Angeles, Stella performed a mime on Tznius (modesty): “The Blind Date,” about a young woman preparing for a shidduch date. Stella takes the audience through humorous twists to discover that modesty is the best policy. One of her powerful mimes is ”My Meeting with the Rebbe,” inspired by a visit to the Lubavitcher Rebbe. “The Life of a Jewish Woman” follows a girl from birth to old age. “The Four Sons” comes from the Passover story. “Eve and the Snake” – self-explanatory.
Stella loves to involve her audience in her performances. She swaggers through the aisles as Haman in “The Book of Esther,” demanding bows from the Jewish people. She invites spectators onto the stage to help her produce “Judith, the Movie” during her Chanukah-themed program. Her show can be full of surprises – would you like to light Shabbat candles with the mime on stage (in pantomime)?
Although Purim is her busiest season, Stella performs all year. She uses music as background except during the Omer period and the Three Weeks, where she uses “a cappella” only.
